We offer a Ladies Bible Study each Tuesday morning from 9:00 -11:00 am that meets in Room EB 104. Come join us for a great time of fellowship as we dig into God's Word!
The first Wednesday evening of each month is Missions Night here at Highland Park. Instead of a regular Bible Study in the sanctuary, several different missions/discipleship groups meet throughout the church. So come join us on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm as our Brotherhood (men), WMU (ladies), and other mission-minded groups meet for study and to plan future outreach events!
Every Sunday evening at 6:00 pm in our Fellowship Hall, Pastor Jim Richland leads a Bible Study that focuses on Pastor Darrell's morning message. This will be a time for people to enjoy refreshments as they discuss, ask questions, and dig deeper into that Sunday's sermon.
Highland Park now offers Celebrate Recovery on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. This is a Christ-centered, Biblically-based ministry that brings help and hope to people struggling with divorce, substance-abuse, addictions (i.e.. food, pornography, gambling), veterans with PTSD and many other habits and hang-ups people may have. People will be guided through Biblical truth as they enjoy a safe place to share their struggle with other people who have been there. If you would like more information please contact our Associate Pastor, Jim Richland, by calling our church office at 336-786-4275.
Our AWANA Clubs are underway for this school year! We offer free classes for kids age 2 through the 6th grade. Meetings are held in our Family Life Center each Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, with a snack supper from 6:00 - 6:20 pm. Parents may register children by going to our "Services & Ministries" page and clicking the button under AWANA Clubs.
On Sunday, October 9th at 11:00 am, we will enjoy a join worship service in our Family Life Center. This special Celebration Service to praise and honor God for all He has don will be filled with wonderful music, a time of recognition and a message from the Word of God. During the service, we will officially burn the mortgage note on the Family Life Center and celebrate the debt retirement. At the close of the service, we will place the time capsules inside the memorial bell tower to be opened in year 2094.
This year instead of our usual Trunk-Or-Treat we will be hosting a Fall-O-Ween JESUS event in our Family Life Center on Sunday, October 30th from 6:00-7:30! Join us and invite your friends for some Fall fun, games, candy and more!
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved” (Jn. 3:16-17).
