Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt

Jesus is the Light Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt: 

Where: Inside our Family Life Center

When: Sunday, April 2nd, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

What: 6:00-7:00 will be family floating time between fun stations. 7:00 will be our rally, Easter story followed by our glow in the dark egg hunt! Bounce houses, snacks, games, photo booth, crafts and face painting!

Good Friday Service April 7th at 12:00 noon:

Join us for our community-wide service as seven different area ministers bring a message entitled, "The Last Seven Words of Christ."  Those speaking during the service include:

     1.  Luke 23:34  –           Minister George Randall, Rocky Ford Christian Church

                                             “Father forgive them for they know not what they do.”

     2.  Luke 23:43  –           Evangelist Jack Anderson

                                             “Today shalt thou be with me in Paradise.”

     3.  John 19:26-27  –      Rev. Andrew Bowman, Pastor, Rocky Ford Christian Church

                                             “Woman behold thy son, son behold thy mother.”

Easter Schedule
Sunday, April 9th

Schedule for Easter Sunday, April 9th:
7:00 am  Sunrise Service:     In the front parking lot of the Family Life Center (weather permitting)

                                                    with breakfast in the Family Life Center immediately following.

8:30 am Worship Service:    In the Family Life Center.

9:45 am Sunday School:       Break out into our regular Sunday School Classes as usual.

11:00 am Worship Service:  In the Family Life Center.

Disaster Relief
Training April 29th

Region 7 Disaster Relief Training at Highland Park on April 29th from 8:00 am—1:00 pm:

Any interested church members or friends can attend the training, which will enable you to become involved with this ministry.  There will be opportunities for our church members/friends who are not interested in attending this training but would be willing to serve as “hosts” for the weekend.  Training will start at 8:00 am and finish around 1:00 pm.  After the completion of the training, you will be certified to go on deployments to assist with disaster relief for three years.  Training will  be in the following areas:  Administration, Assessment, Chaplaincy, Childcare, Communications, Feeding, Forklift, Logistics, Maintenance, Medical Reserve Corps, Recovery (also know as Clean-up), Safety, Shower/Laundry, and Recovery Trailer.  More details to come later.  An information sheet has been placed in the Educational Bldg. hallway that explains all of these training possibilities.  Please contact our church office if you have any questions.
